Frequently Asked Questions

What is included in your typical psychological evaluation?

A standard psychological evaluation will typically include 1.5 - 2 days of interview and testing. Appropriate psychological tests are selected on a case by case basis and often take 2-4 hours for the litigant to complete. Testing is typically administered on one day and the remainder of the evaluation occurs on another day. Aside from document review and potential collateral interviews, the remainder of the evaluation often includes the taking of an in-depth psychosocial history as well as diagnostic interviewing.

Where do you conduct your evaluations

Although our experts are licensed in either Illinois or Florida, they conduct evaluations throughout the U.S. Each state has different rules and regulations about practicing psychology and conducting evaluations with and out of state psychology license. Some states require we seek permission from the licensing board to conduct evaluations if we hold an out of state license. If needed, we can simply request a temporary license to work in states outside of Illinois and Florida.
